Enjoy walking over Cape Kidnappers Station,
one of Hawke’s Bay’s most picturesque working
sheep and cattle stations. The Station is a rugged coastal
property of over 2,000 hectares (5,000 acres) with ocean
boundaries on two sides.
Cape Kidnappers Station offers spectacular
scenery. Guided walks will take you the beautiful, remote
and historic Rangaiika Beach and Dunes, site of Pre European
settlement and Whaling station. In summer enjoy a swim before
walking north to Flat Rock. “The Rough Block”
with it’s large stands of coastal bush, or out to
the worlds largest and most accessible mainland gannet
colony at Cape Kidnappers. There are other areas to
explore such as “Top Trigg Road” which enjoys
360 degree panoramic views.

standard of fitness and good walking shoes then don’t
